Honor 7x Fiirst Impressions ,is it really a segment king?

Huawei’s Global President George Zhao has disclosed that the brand would launch the Honor 7X in India this December. The Honor 7X was first unveiled in China on October 11 with a design resembling the Honor V9 and also with a decent specs lineup. The Honor 7X brings a mid-range price tag to the hitherto elite Honor brand and with the launch in India, the Huawei exec hinted that the price can only get better. He specifically stated that it will be introduced at an “unbeatable price” that will give the competitors a run for their money

After Honor 9i, Huawei is back with another camera and display centric smartphone for masses. The new smartphone is the successor of Honor 6x which was launched in the first quarter of 2016 in India and impressed us with its camera abilities and overall performance.
Huawei Honor 7X smartphone was launched in October 2017. The phone comes with a 5.93-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels.

The Huawei Honor 7X is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Honor 7X packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Huawei Honor 7X runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 3340mAh non removable battery. It measures 156.50 x 75.30 x 7.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 165.00 grams.

The Huawei Honor 7X is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Honor 7x brings some noticeable generation updates and is perhaps Huawei's last mobile product for the year 2017. It is due for a global launch in December 2017 and is expected to be priced around Rs. 15,000 India.

If you remove the dual-lens camera setup from
Honor 9i, what you get is more or less Honor 7x. The dual-lens camera setup offers good output and the new taller 18:9 aspect ratio gives Honor 7x an edge over its closest competitors- Xiaomi Mi A1, Lenovo K8 Note and Moto G5S Plus. Now it all depends on Honor 7's pricing that will make or break it a deal for price-conscious consumers in the Indian market.
